As kids go back to school this month, it’s important to recognize every community represented in every school district. This includes communities that may not be as funded as others, and as we all know, thriving communities help children and families grow. This month, we wanted to help make sure that every community can grow by giving back to Beyond Housing

Beyond Housing is a non-profit that focuses on community development, helping them become a better place to live. They help families purchase a home, healthcare, find a job, find education, jobs, and all the things needed for a community to be powerful. Beyond Housing is dedicated to equity, inclusion, and diversity through their organization and culture.

Their most prominent initiative is the 24:1 project. The 24:1 was created to help solve the challenges that face the communities within the geographic boundaries of the Normandy school district. They actively work toward this goal by identifying the resources needed and acting on them.

#MaysGivesBack is a monthly fundraising project where we give a portion of our monthly profits to an organization that supports communities and groups in need. Keep an eye out for next month’s organization. Have a cause that’s near and dear to you? Drop us a line!
